TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL STALLHOLDERS
Setting Up:  Setting up time: 06:30 to 10:30

    • Hours of trading:
      • Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 August from 11:00am to 6:45pm.  Stalls must be well supervised at all times.
      • All vehicles must be removed and you must be at your stall and ready for inspection on Saturday 19 by 10:45am
    • General Guidelines:
      • All locations of stalls and sites will be at the discretion of the festival organiser.
      • Stall holders must complete and submit all paperwork by: Wednesday 31st May 2017
      • Stallholders will be responsible for providing all equipment required. Festival organisers will provide: Marquee, 2 chairs and power
      • Stall holders should keep their stall free from refuse and clean up as they go.
      • Your area is to be left clean and damage free at the end of each trading day.
      •  Refundable deposit of £100 is required to cover damages and removal of equipment.  If none of the above occurs that is attributed to your stall, your deposit will be returned in full. 
    • Catering Health &Safety
      • Please ensure that you have a basic First Aid Kit within the stall.
      • Food handlers must have a 3 Rating or above to qualify
      • All stallholders need to bring their own fire blankets; fire extinguisher which should have been serviced within the last 12 months.
      • You must complete and have with you the relevant Risk Assessment Forms.
      • A visiting environment Health & Fire Officer will check the above. They have the right to examine your stall including all equipment, how your food is served and stored. Lambeth Council has the authority to close down your stall immediately if it fails to meet current food safety/health requirements.
      • Please inform us of your wattage requirements.
      • The organisers will take no responsibility should stallholders fail to comply with these rules and regulations.
    • Cancellation of stalls:
      • All stall booking payments are strictly non-refundable due to cancellation by applicants
      • Stallholders shall not have any claim against the organiser in respect of any loss or damage upon the event failing (for whatever reason) to be held or the venue being or becoming wholly or partially unavailable for holding of the event. For example, if Lambeth Council, for whatever reason, deems it necessary to withdraw permission for use of the venue.
      • The organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or cash or be liable for loss of revenue to the stall holders.
    • Postponement or Abandonment
      • Stall holders shall not have any claim against the organiser in respect of any loss or damage upon the event failing (for whatever reason) to be held or the venue being or becoming wholly or partially unavailable for the holding of the event. For example, if Lambeth Council, for whatever reason, deems it necessary to withdraw permission for use of the venue
    • Liability
      • The stallholder is required to have taken out Product and Public Liability Insurance for up to £5million.
      • The organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including consequential or indirect loss or damage) suffered by the stall holder whether such loss or damage arises from breach of a duty in contract or in any other way (including loss or damage from the organiser’s negligence) and which shall include loss of profit; loss of contracts; loss of or damage to property or goods of the stall holder or any other person; or personal injury to the stall holder or any person (but only so far as such injury is not caused by the organisers negligence)
    • Fire Precautions:
      • Exhibitors must comply with all instructions given by the relevant authorities to avoid the risk of fire or any other risk.
      • All electric appliances must be in safe working order and PAT tested within the last 12 months otherwise connection to electricity supply will not be permitted.
  • Items for sale:
    • It is required by law, that you clearly display your price list for the general public to view.
    • All stall holders must fully comply with sales of Goods Act and all related Trade Description Acts.
  • Festival Organisers reserve the right in their absolute discretion to make any changes or cancellations it considers necessary.
